What is LED Phototherapy?
LED is based on the principle that cells can absorb light, offering regenerating and anti-inflammatory properties. Light helps us to produce vitamin D and provides energy and serotonin, which accelerate our skin’s natural repair processes.
In a controlled environment, exposing the skin to red, blue and near infrared light are clinically proven to be beneficial to the skin and energise the skin so that cells function better which makes skin appear younger, healthy and radiant skin.
Results
Following a single Dermalux treatment, clients can expect immediate improvement in skin tone, hydration and overall radiance which will continue in the following days. Redness and irritation is calmed. However, most changes occur naturally over a course of treatment.
The number of treatments required for optimum results is subject to a number of factors including indication, lifestyle factors and other procedures that may beincluded in the overall treatment programme. This will be assessed during the consultation.
